Child Thrown from Art Museum Achieves Ability to Swim, Run and Jump

Parents of a minor who received critical injuries after getting pushed from the 10th floor of the art gallery have revealed their "little knight" has accomplished his target of being able to jump, swim, and run once more.

This European youngster was aged six when he was pushed off a balcony by a youth, then 17.

The boy, who was traveling with the parents in August 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 30-meter plunge but received significant injuries, including a cranial bleeding and shattered bones.

His family shared in an update on a crowdfunding page, they were happy that he had been able to advance with his running, jumping and swimming before his next surgery.

"He is unable to do it similar to youngsters of his age, certainly, but we cannot describe his actions in another manner than by calling it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It varies, merely across a few meters or a very small height, but it's an remarkable accomplishment."

The child, who passed a long time in critical care, has persisted to develop brain resilience.

His family said although his memory skills were still very limited, they were functional and advancing, so he was "gaining a general knowledge at his speed, which more and more allows him to be involved with peers."

'Mission Accomplished'

Parents noted: "He is also developing, and due to his work with the physical therapist, he currently permits himself to rest."

"Previously, to compensate for his limitation on the left side, he kept his right part constantly tense, which caused him pain."

"Currently, our pre-teen (we must acknowledge the truth, he's grown up anymore) has understood that he must to allow himself pauses; we have to remind him less."

He also reached a long-held aim with his father: "As we dwell a short distance from the ocean, they had set their final goal of enjoying a picnic at the beach and then coming back."

"Subsequent to several progressive practice runs, they ultimately finished their 2.5 hour trip. They arrived home tired but overjoyed. Mission accomplished."

After a legal proceeding at the Old Bailey, the adolescent was convicted of trying to kill and was jailed in the year 2020 for no less than 15 years.
